Heaven on Earth

Its difficult to imagine an aim that more encapsulates the embracing of human potential than to literally come out and say "What i'm trying to do is to create Heaven on Earth", however, that's what spiritual teacher, Andrew Cohen, has done, supported with an understanding of how this can be achieved, and you can watch the video clip of this address via the link to his relevant web page below.

In the quiet privacy of our own minds i'm sure all of us would like to see this too. So this represents an exciting drive of energy and conscious focus, and also companionship to know that there are people, others as well as Andrew, who have clearly defined such an aim, and are enjoying the journey towards making it happen.

"Humans have the power to create and destroy life in a way that up until recently only gods were capable of, and yet our moral, ethical, and spiritual development is lagging way behind.

"When you begin to let in how big this context really is, you will recognize that the extraordinary potential of your own personal transformation and its need to be actualized is absolutely non-separate from the predicament that we're in as a race."- Andrew Cohen

Andrew defines his work as showing people the way to actually achieve this, and clearly already holds the sufficient self-belief that this can be achieved.

This alone can be a useful gift for the rest of us, to know that this level of belief already exists.

Noticeably, also, Cohen's approach doesn't state that everyone must act in a certain way for this potential to be met. He only talks of it requiring a 'significant minority'; "The small minority of us who do have the time and circumstances for introspection are in a very fortunate position...".

So what we're talking about here is an opportunity to achieve something amazing which is beyond anything that we have previously achieved, as it is on a collective achievement basis - for the first time ever in our modern history success and achievement is no longer a personal thing.

I suspect it may be both an amazing opportunity to achieve something quite extraordinary, and actually, also an absolutely essential (to our happiness) part of our basic human need to unlock the collective potential we have and create and live in the world we wish to create and live in. I cannot see that deep down we would be comfortable and hapy with anything less.
