The First Basis Of All Relationships
In the short, yet powerful interview transcript linked to below we touch on a key ingredient of relationship with other people; our relationship with ourself.
It could be said that this is the first basis of all relationships, as if you don't know yourself, how can you know the value of anything you're giving to anyone else.
We each have a conversation which goes on in our head, and when we have this voice aligned, self-driven, congruent and supportive, then we may expect to interact effectively with other people.
Such things as self-talk, and being at one with ourselves, are the starting point for everything else which is to follow.
The quote below sums this up beautifully;
"You can't love somebody else unless you start by loving yourself." - David Heard
We wish you well in your relationship with yourself, and invite you to remember that the discussion forums are there if you wish to discuss any of the Papillon topics listed.
The audio track that accompanies this transcript is also available on the 'Happiness' Double Audio CD presentation.
